My name is Destiny and I’m an intervention specialist at Treasure Valley Intervention, where I have been committed to fostering independence and understanding each child’s unique needs since March of 2024. With a bachelor’s degree in psychology and experience as a paraprofessional in schools, I have developed a deep appreciation for the individuality of every child.

My experience in the classroom has allowed me to work with a broad range of ages and needs. Beginning in 2017, I worked in high school special education with children with high needs and physical limitations. I transitioned to elementary school special education in 2019 working with children needing higher behavioral assistance where I became interested in behavioral intervention. Believing that each child has their own strengths and challenges, I focus on creating tailored behavioral strategies and approaches that promote self-confidence and autonomy. I emphasize collaboration with families to support each child’s journey toward independence.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors with my three dogs and traveling with my family, and embracing new experiences!
